Samfya Town Council has set tourism as a priority investment sector owing to the natural attractions that the district has.
In a bid to improve the tourists and Invesment traffic in the district, the Local Authority with support from the Ministry of Tourism constructed a Tourism Information Center under the Tourism Development Fund (TDF) amounting to over two million kwacha. The facility was officially launched by the Minister of Tourism Hon. Rodney Sikumba.
The facility has opened up to more investment opportunities in the district as it is serving as the information hub for the Northern Circuit Tourism.
